   Since as far back as I can remember I have been involved with some type of paranormal situation and activity. I was born and raised in southern California for most of my life and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in November of 1992. Growing up in California I can remember going to many different areas of haunted locations from time to time testing the waters to see, feel or hear if there was any type of paranormal activity, but being in those early years of my life I didn’t know a whole lot about the paranormal at the time in some areas..

   As I grew in the knowledge and wisdom for what was real or not I began realizing that there was a lot more to what was on The Othersidez than I could imagine. Through the years my view points and research involving the paranormal have changed with time. I have played and dabbled in most areas involving the paranormal and as of a couple of years ago I came to realize what I believe is the truth behind the paranormal through my faith in God and scripture in his word as I am still researching as much truth as I can find. I’ve always had the idea in my head about being involved in the paranormal field in some way or another. Now as I have grown and have put together this company (THE OTHERSIDEZ), I have come to realize the real truths behind the paranormal through my faiths in God.

   As my vision statement says and I quote:

“ WE WILL BE THE VOICE FOR THE TRUTH BEHIND THE PARANORMAL”
As it does NOT say “ WE ARE THE VOICE FOR THE TRUTH BEHIND THE PARANORMAL”

   We all learn more and more as we grow in our faiths and beliefs in knowledge of what is right, wrong or real within our hearts and minds.

Francis Yu

PA Assistant/ Production Crew  

   I was born in the Philippines on February 16, 1979. When I was ten, my family moved to California. We later moved to Texas, which is where my career in film/TV began when I realized that I was wasting my time studying engineering at the University of Houston. I made a bold decision to go back to California to start studying graphic design. Two years later with degree in hand, I was off to the world of Hollywood.
    I got my first job in a well-known post-production house, Pacific Title Art Studio. While there, I was able to gain valuable experience in regards to visual effects, color correction, titles, and captions. It was then, that I realized that my future was in production realm. I started working for match frame Video and was able to gain knowledge of all the media and gain valuable network. My production career began when I was asked to become an assistant lighting grip for a local company commercial.
    In March 2006, I was off from the City of Angels to Sin City. While in Vegas, I was able to grab more production gigs, including PA/chaperone for NBC's "Last Comic Standing." All this led to my first serious and ghostly production gig ever by taking part in the filming of a paranormal documentary named “The Truth behind the Paranormal” with Michael Boatright and The Othersidez Inc. This was the opportunity that I had been looking for and am happy to be a part of.

   I was born and raised in West Hollywood Ca. on August 4th, 1972.  Before I was born, my mother worked for Nancy Sinatra as her personal assistant. She always told me growing up, that those were the best days of her life. I then knew that I wanted to be in the Entertainment Industry.

   We moved to Las Vegas in 1991 and I always kept in the back of my mind that I wanted to work in Movies and T.V. So, by accident I got a gig working as a production assistant on a local poker show that was being taped here in Vegas. That show led to many other shows in which I became a Grip / Utility. I have always been fascinated with paranormal research and one day while searching for a gig on the internet, I saw an ad looking for help on a paranormal project called “The Truth behind the Paranormal”.

   I became a boom operator for the Virginia City location, and recently I have been learning the art of operating cameras, and now I am extremely fortunate to be working with an amazing crew on a project that will help everyone discover “The Truth behind the paranormal”.

I grew up in a small town suburb of Cleveland, Oh.  Moved to Las Vegas in ’93. The first person I met was Mikey.  We formed an unparalleled bond that has grown into a strong friendship.

I’ve never experienced any paranormal occurrences of my own…..I’m usually the one who is completely oblivious to things of the sort.  I’ve been traveling to haunts with Mikey for over 15 years.  I’m stoked to be a part of the OTHERSIDEZ.

I have a background in PR.  I love to travel and enjoy being outdoors as much as possible.  I’m obsessed with hiking and being healthy.  I love who I am and where I am in my life.

My motto….Live it up while you can, BECAUSE you can!!!

Dee Arnold

Field Investigator

Born in Torrance California, owned a restaurant in Illinois. I had found my natural family at the age of thirty. Richard Simmons introduced us on national television as a surprise to me. I sold my restaurant to be with my natural family here in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I met Mike threw a job we both worked at. Mike and I got into a conversation about the paranormal because he had asked me if I ever had any experience with paranormal before. I said “yes” and that’s when I started asking him all these questions about the paranormal, that I have been wanting the answers to.

My personal experience with the paranormal is why I’m so interested in discovering the truth behind the paranormal.

My expectations with the Othersidez is to get the truth behind the paranormal experiences that I have had in my life, like did I really see my mom at the exact time she passed away?

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV and to be honest, I know for a fact I will never leave. Junior year in high school I was misplaced in a film production class, where I fell in love with it and decided to stay for the next 2 years. I knew then that this is what I wanted to do as a career, film production and editing being my main focus.

I actually met Michael on a paranormal tour. I was then informed that him and his team were making a documentary in regards to The Truth Behind The Paranormal and became interested in every aspect of it immediately. I advised him that working in film was my absolute dream and I was honored to have met him.

Ever since I was young I have had my own experiences with the paranormal and at such a young age it’s not easy to understand. Now that I’m older, I still have some questions regarding the paranormal. Now that I’m part of THE OTHERSIDEZ production team hopefully my questions will be answered.

I was born in Belleville, New Jersey and raised in Irvington, New Jersey for 14 years. Moved to Polk City, Florida and lived there for about 10 years. I spent 2 years in the Army and from there I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in December of 2007 and have resided here since.

I have spent my time here in Vegas hopping around different gas stations asking myself what I really want to do as a career. While working at the Aliante gas station, I ran into Michael as we discussed his wonderful company. We shared our several past experiences with the paranormal as I said I would so love to be a part of this company as a field investigator. While growing up after my experiences and watching the shows on TV I always thought it would be so awesome to be an investigator of the paranormal as a career. Now that I have joined as an investigator and one of the main crew for this company I have numerous questions regarding the paranormal as searching for more answers as some have already been revealed to me through research with The Othersidez.

I am so ecstatic and anxious to help out with portraying “The Truth” in our documentary: “The Truth behind the Paranormal.” As “We” will be the Voice of the Truth! There will be many memories and experiences of the paranormal down this long bumpy, exciting and adventurous journey, but I can say one thing is for certain. The Othersidez will always be remembered as “We will be the voice behind the truth of the paranormal!”

John Sweeney

Field Investigator

Like most all of the team members, I have had personal experiences pretty much all of my life. I was born on September 17th 1967 and raised in a small town in Northern MN. Like all small towns there are rumors and reports and claims of activity around the local cemeteries or the one house that seems to never be occupied. In my case it was actually my parent’s house. While living there in my youth, I would be awakened at night by strange voices and the sound of footsteps walking along the upstairs hallway. This activity continues even today.

I was relocated to Las Vegas in 1988 by the USAF after boot camp and technical training in Biloxi MS. I have been a resident ever since. While living here I have continued to have sporadic personal experiences.

I have always been intrigued by the Paranormal. I have tried to research as many reports and documented activities as possible. However this had always been second hand information in books, newspapers, or TV shows……Until recently.

In the past several years, I have been taking “Vacations” to known “Hot Spots”. My favorite would have to be the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park Colorado. I spent 4 days staying on the 4th floor and even had the privilege to do a short EVP and video session in the infamous “Steven King” room. (Room#217). Unfortunately, none of my personal experiences could be backed up with any video or audio.

It is an honor to be a team member with The Othersidez and I am looking forward in helping bring forth the “Truth” behind the paranormal.

Tara Bonacci

I was born and raised on the east coast, in the great state of New Jersey. I come from a traditional Roman Catholic background, But ever since as far back as I can remember, there are two things that interest me. Film/ the arts & the paranormal. As a young girl I experienced many odd things and happenings on the weird farm we lived on, But when I grew up a bit more and headed into my teens we moved to this town called "Jackson" in New Jersey & I really started to realize at that point that there is something beyond what the eye can see. Even though I grew up in New Jersey, eventually I headed west in 2000 to pursue my dreams in the film industry. My whole immediate family relocated to Las Vegas, N.V. as well to live and work. In between all of that, my family also fell on some hard times. When I lost one of my brother's that is when I began to really just go and dig even deeper in to the truths of life. I wanted more answers than what the priests were giving me as so much downfall was going on within the Catholic Church. So I began to investigate what else was out there. I also got into some esoteric studies as well due to all this theory & I felt it was my calling of sorts to do so. With so much misinformation out there & from my experiences alone, that is what I decided to do.
In the mean time directing is a passion of mine, writing, & the film industry all together. So I decided to enroll in Los Angeles film school to get some knowledge and experience under my belt as I followed my dream to one day direct & produce my own projects. I was set to move to Los Angeles once and for all in April of 2010. That was until I ran into a little ad my friend emailed me. Thanks to that email I met Mike & the crew, right here in Las Vegas, N.V. & I feel like I am finally where I belong in life. This company and what we do, the passion behind it, the whole vibe of everyone involved... and what this film is going to share with the world about the paranormal is right where it is at. This is my path to uncover the truths behind the paranormal with everyone involved as I have become a part of something, that well, is gonna be big! Let's just put it that way. We are definitely not alone.
